Unlockables
Cups & Classes | Characters | Vehicles | Profile Ranks | Miscellaneous
You will be alerted when you have unlocked something, when you come from the title screen onto the main menu. This happens by switching on the console or just completing a Cup, which automatically returns you to the title screen. If you have completed an instruction below, remember you need to go to the title screen and into the game, before you have properly unlocked it.
Cups & Classes
Whether 50cc, 100cc or 150cc you must earn at least bronze overall in each of the following cups.

Profile Rank
At the end of each Cup you will receive a rank depending upon your performance. Star ranks are awarded for exceptional performances and are only awarded if the player completes the Cup to perfection. To achieve a 3 Star Rank you must ensure the following:
- Do not fall off the track
- Receive expert times in the Cup
- Be in 1st place 90% of the time throughout the Cup
If you achieve stars in all Cups you will have a Star Rank shown next to your character when you battle or race online.

Miscellaneous
Victory photos appear after completing a Cup. These photos can be saved to your Wii message board and you can also send them to other friends on your Wii Friends List.
